Hello everybody
I have a very old aircraft- specialized Meccano Box, manufactured probably in the late thirties, in our family ever since. The stored conditions were not ideal to put it mild, so some of the body parts look battered to use Pauine´s expression. But I do not want to sell, I like to restore the original as far as possible. What needs replacement´are the deep rusted screws and probably the spring operated motor. Would be grateful for any hints for the restoration work and an address for purchase of matching screws.
Many thanks |

Pauline, As a suggestion you could advertise the M1 set on here, I believe it is free to do so.

I have a boxed M1 Meccano Set which has been partially used once. 1970's or early 1980's I think. As far as I know everything is in the box in good condition. The box itself is whole, but a bit battered at one end. Would anyone be interested in buying this? Can provide lots of photos. |
