In reply to Alan Brilliant.

I would suggest you build the differential analyser. A very interesting models. there are two meccano plans, one from the sixties for the large analyser, there is also a much smaller model I have built. I got the plan from ebay and there WAS a video on youtube...which I cant find :-(

hope this gives you an interesting model

Hugh, The SML 6a never actually existed as a leaflet, but Bert Love released a copy of it in the Meccano Magazine for October 1973 Pages 68-71. The first of the pages can be found here
http://www.nzmeccano.com/mm.php?p=Oct73pp20
There is also an interesting article written by Ralph Laughton on SML 6a, which can be found here

Can any body out there help me with a copy of Super Models leaflet No 6a the 1929 steam engine driven version of Super Models No6 the Stiff-Leg Derrick Crane. Regards Hugh Castellan

Does anyone else do models with TRIX?

Dick Watson      (at 12:17pm, Sun 11th May, 14)

My solution was to replace the ordinary 2" Strip with a slotted one with a Fishplate fixed to the big end to provide a round hole for the crankpin slightly nearer the small end.
